Your users swap or bridge by sending tokens to an address, from any wallet or exchange. No wallet connection or signing in your app. Each deposit becomes an order with the usual webhooks.

Bridge, then run contract calls on the destination chain in the same user action, such as supplying to Aave in one step. LayerHop simulates every call against mainnet state before it returns a quote.

How it works in more depth on How LayerHop works, or in the docs FAQ.
LayerHop charges 0.15% per swap in the web app and the embedded widget, 0.10% through the API and 0.45% through the Telegram bot. Every quote shows the total fees before you sign, and the fee details list the LayerHop fee as a percentage and as an amount of the token you send. Route providers may charge their own fees and you pay network gas; we include those whenever the provider reports them. Partner apps can add their own fee, which is included in the total and named in the fee details.
No. LayerHop is non-custodial. The transaction you sign goes from your wallet straight to the routing provider's contracts. We never take custody of your tokens and can't move them for you. The Telegram bot, the API and the MCP server never ask for or hold private keys either.
LayerHop supports 71 chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana, Avalanche, Berachain, HyperEVM and Sonic, plus newer networks such as Monad and Robinhood Chain. Thousands of tokens are searchable by name, symbol or address, with live balances and USD prices once your wallet is connected. The full list is at layerhop.com/chains.
The app at app.layerhop.com shows live charts and token lists for Solana and Robinhood Chain and lets you buy or sell those tokens with any token on any supported chain. Each token page has the chart, recent trades, top traders, top holders and risk checks, plus price alerts, a watchlist and share links. The app also has a launchpad feed, swap and bridge, a portfolio for your connected wallets, your activity and referral links, and you can add it to your phone's home screen. Tokenized stocks are charts only for now.
A referral link is any LayerHop link with ?r= and your own wallet address, and the app's Referrals page gives you one for each connected wallet. Swaps made by people who open your link are recorded against your address for 30 days, and the page shows how many there were and their approximate volume. Referral rewards aren't switched on yet, and using a link never changes what the person swapping pays.
LayerHop asks Jupiter, Relay, deBridge, 0x, KyberSwap and LI.FI for every quote and shows the best return first. You can see every provider that answered and pick the fastest route instead.
Message @layerhop_bot. Use /quote for a one-line quote or /swap for a guided, step-by-step builder. When you're ready, the bot opens layerhop.com with your swap prefilled and you sign in your own wallet. /track follows the order until it's delivered, /alert SOL > 200 sets a price alert that fires with a one-tap swap link, and /receive gives you a deposit address that converts whatever you send to it. /invite gives you a personal invite link. The bot never asks for a seed phrase.
Cross-chain times vary with network load, and the estimate on the quote comes from the provider. LayerHop keeps checking the order's status, and you can look it up any time in the Explorer. If a route can't complete, the underlying protocol's refund process applies. It usually returns funds on the source chain, with timing and conditions set by that protocol, not by LayerHop.
Any browser EVM wallet, plus Solana wallets that support the Wallet Standard, such as Phantom and Solflare. You can connect an EVM and a Solana wallet at the same time to move between them.
Open the developer dashboard and sign in with an EVM or Solana wallet. No email or password. From there you can create API keys, watch usage and request logs, follow orders, add webhook endpoints and see partner earnings. Quotes also work without a key.
Yes. Wallets, apps and sites can add their own partner fee on top of LayerHop's on every swap they send, up to 0.50% to start, using a partner id on the widget or deep links, a partner API key on the server or a Telegram bot invite link. Apply in the developer dashboard and your profile is active at once. Your share is recorded per swap and paid out to your wallet; the dashboard shows what you earned, what was paid and what is owed, and you can download a CSV statement.
Yes. LayerHop gets you paid in USDC or USDT on the chain you choose (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon or Solana) while your customer pays with any token on any chain. Create a payment link, or a product with a payment button, in the dashboard with no code; email an invoice; bill a subscription, with an invoice emailed every period and reminders if it goes unpaid; embed checkout on your own site with checkout.js; or install the free WordPress / WooCommerce plugin. LayerHop routes each payment so the full amount reaches your wallet, verifies the delivery on chain before it marks the payment paid, and sends a webhook. Funds go straight to your wallet and LayerHop never holds them. You can refund in full or in part: you sign the refund from your own wallet and LayerHop routes it back to the chain and token the customer paid with.
Yes, with deposit addresses, currently in beta. An app creates an address for a route, for example USDC on Base to USDC on Arbitrum, and the user sends tokens to it from any wallet or exchange. Each deposit is swapped or bridged and delivered to the user's address, with refunds to an address they choose if a deposit can't be routed. The address belongs to the liquidity provider, so LayerHop never holds the funds. Addresses can be reusable per user or one-time for an exact amount.
Gas on arrival delivers about $2 of the destination chain's native coin together with a cross-chain swap to an EVM chain, so you can transact there right away. Turn it on with the "Get gas on arrival" switch in the swap app or widget, or gasOnArrival=true in the API. The gas is paid out of the swap and the quote shows what was added. It applies when the output isn't already the native coin.
Yes. Choose Hyperliquid as the destination and pay with a token on an EVM chain, such as ETH on Ethereum or USDC on Base or Arbitrum. USDC lands in your Hyperliquid perps balance, ready to trade. Hyperliquid is a destination only: withdrawals are made on Hyperliquid itself.
On the status page at status.layerhop.com. It shows the live status and 90-day uptime of the API, checkout, dashboard, docs, MCP server, Telegram bot and every liquidity provider, with recent incidents. The same data is public at api.layerhop.com/v1/status.
Yes. Turn on Test mode in the developer dashboard and create an lh_test_ key. Test requests get sandbox quotes and placeholder transactions that can't move funds, and orders and payments complete in about 10 seconds with test webhooks. The API playground in the docs lets you try every endpoint from your browser.
Yes. The LayerHop MCP server at https://mcp.layerhop.com/mcp lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients list chains, quote swaps and prepare a prefilled swap link. For agents you build yourself, the same tools come as packages for the Vercel AI SDK, LangChain, the OpenAI Agents SDK, ElizaOS, Coinbase AgentKit and GOAT. The tools hold no keys: they return quotes and unsigned transactions, and only a wallet you control signs. A summary for language models is published at layerhop.com/llms.txt.
TypeScript, React, React Native and Expo, Python, Go, Rust, Swift (iOS and macOS), Kotlin (Android and the JVM) and C# (.NET and Unity), plus a command-line tool. Every SDK quotes, builds the unsigned transaction and tracks the order, and none of them hold keys. For wallets, @layerhop/wagmi sends the approval and the swap in one confirmation in EIP-5792 wallets, and @layerhop/solana signs with Solana wallets. Setup for each one is in the docs at docs.layerhop.com.
Yes, with destination calls, currently in beta. A quote can include contract calls that run on the destination chain with the bridged tokens, so a user can, for example, bridge USDC from Base and supply it to Aave on Arbitrum in one signature. LayerHop simulates the calls against mainnet state before it returns a quote, and a call that would revert fails the quote instead. Destination calls work with test keys today, and live mode is rolling out.
