LayerHop

Deposit to Hyperliquid from any EVM chain

Hyperliquid's own bridge only takes USDC on Arbitrum. With LayerHop you pay with ETH, USDC, USDT or another token on Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche or Arbitrum, sign one transaction, and USDC lands in your Hyperliquid perps balance, ready to trade. Relay carries the funds; LayerHop never holds them and shows its 0.30% fee before you sign.

How to deposit to Hyperliquid

One signature on the chain you pay from. Nothing to do on Hyperliquid itself.

  1. 1

    Choose what you pay

Pick a chain and token you already hold, such as USDC on Base, ETH on Ethereum or USDT on BNB Chain. Hyperliquid is already set as the destination.

  2. 2

Connect your wallet and review the quote

Connect the EVM wallet that holds the funds; its 0x address is your Hyperliquid account. The quote shows the USDC you receive, the minimum, every fee and Relay's time estimate.

  3. 3

    Sign once

Approve the token if your wallet asks, then sign the deposit. Relay delivers USDC to your Hyperliquid perps balance, usually within seconds.

Pick your route

Each page has the swap prefilled for that route. Any EVM chain Relay lists can be the source (51 today); these are the most asked for.

What arrives

USDC in your Hyperliquid perps balance, at the 0x address you choose. By default that's the wallet you sign with, which is also your Hyperliquid account. Spot balances, HYPE and HyperEVM are not destinations of this route.

Hyperliquid is a destination only: LayerHop can deposit to it but not withdraw from it, because withdrawals need actions signed on Hyperliquid itself.

Fees, timing and gas

LayerHop fee0.30% of the amount in the web app and widget, included in the quote
Relay feesShown in the quote when Relay reports them
Network gasOn the chain you pay from only
Gas on arrivalNot needed: trading on Hyperliquid uses no gas token
Delivery timeUsually seconds after your transaction confirms; each quote shows Relay's estimate
MinimumNo 5 USDC bridge minimum; we suggest $5 or more so fees stay small

Coming from Solana?

LayerHop can't deposit from Solana to Hyperliquid in one step yet: the Hyperliquid route goes through Relay, and LayerHop doesn't send Relay routes from Solana today. Bridge USDC from Solana to Base first, then deposit from Base to Hyperliquid. Start with Solana to Base.

For developers

Put a Hyperliquid deposit button in your own app.

Quote with dstChain=hyperliquid through the LayerHop API or SDKs and your users sign one transaction, or create a deposit address so they can fund Hyperliquid by sending tokens from any wallet or exchange.

Hyperliquid deposit questions

How do I deposit to Hyperliquid from another chain?

Open LayerHop with Hyperliquid as the destination, choose what you pay (for example ETH on Ethereum, USDC on Base or USDT on BNB Chain), enter an amount and sign one transaction in your wallet. Relay delivers USDC to your Hyperliquid perps balance, ready to trade. Any EVM chain Relay lists can be the source (51 today).

Why can't I just send USDC to Hyperliquid from any chain?

Hyperliquid's own bridge takes USDC on Arbitrum, so from anywhere else you'd normally bridge to Arbitrum first and then deposit. LayerHop does both in one route through Relay, and lets you pay with other tokens such as ETH or USDT.

What arrives on Hyperliquid?

USDC in the perps balance of the recipient address, usually your own 0x wallet address. Spot balances, HYPE and HyperEVM are not destinations of this route. HyperEVM is a separate EVM chain you can bridge to like any other.

Can I deposit to Hyperliquid from Solana?

Not in one step yet. LayerHop's Hyperliquid route goes through Relay, and LayerHop doesn't send Relay routes from Solana today. You can bridge USDC from Solana to Base or Arbitrum with LayerHop first, then deposit from there to Hyperliquid.

Is there a minimum deposit?

Deposits through LayerHop don't use Hyperliquid's own Arbitrum bridge, so its 5 USDC minimum doesn't apply. Very small amounts are poor value after fees and gas, so we suggest $5 or more. If an amount is too small to route, the quote says so.

What does a Hyperliquid deposit cost?

LayerHop charges 0.30% (30 basis points) of the amount in the web app and widget. It is part of the quote you see before signing, together with Relay's own fees when Relay reports them. You also pay network gas on the source chain. Example from a read-only quote on 2026-10-20: 20 USDC from Arbitrum was quoted at 19.94 USDC on Hyperliquid, and the 0.06 USDC difference was the LayerHop fee. Prices move, so check your own quote.

Do I need gas on Hyperliquid?

No. Trading on Hyperliquid needs no gas token, so gas on arrival doesn't apply to Hyperliquid deposits. You only pay the network fee on the chain you send from.

Does LayerHop hold my funds during the deposit?

No. You sign the transaction in your own wallet and it goes to Relay, which delivers the USDC to your Hyperliquid account. LayerHop never holds funds or keys.

Can I add Hyperliquid deposits to my own app?

Yes. Quote with dstChain=hyperliquid through the LayerHop API or SDKs, or create a deposit address so your users can fund Hyperliquid by sending tokens, without connecting a wallet. The developer guide has the details.
