Bridge USDT to Hyperliquid

Pick USDT on Ethereum, Arbitrum or BNB Chain, sign one transaction, and Relay swaps it to USDC and delivers it to your Hyperliquid perps balance, usually within seconds. No stop on Arbitrum, no separate deposit on Hyperliquid. LayerHop never holds your funds and shows its 0.30% fee before you sign.

Your USDT is swapped to USDC on the way, because Hyperliquid's perps balance is USDC. The quote shows the rate and the exact USDC amount before you sign.

How to bridge USDT to Hyperliquid

Three steps, one signature. You stay in your own wallet the whole time.

  1. 1

    Open the prefilled swap

The swap opens with USDT on Ethereum as what you pay and USDC on Hyperliquid as what you receive. You can switch to USDT on Ethereum, Arbitrum or BNB Chain.

  2. 2

Connect your wallet and enter an amount

Connect the EVM wallet that holds the funds. Its 0x address is also your Hyperliquid account, so USDC arrives there unless you paste a different 0x recipient. The quote shows what you receive, the minimum, the fees and Relay's time estimate.

  3. 3

    Sign once and trade

Approve the token if your wallet asks (ERC-20 tokens only), then sign the deposit on the source chain. When the order is delivered, the USDC is in your Hyperliquid perps balance, ready to trade.

Send USDT from these chains

Each was quoted by Relay into Hyperliquid perps USDC in our read-only check on 2026-10-20.

What you receive, and where

USDC in your Hyperliquid perps balance. It lands as margin you can trade with straight away. It does not go to your spot balance or to HyperEVM, and you don't receive HYPE.

The recipient is a 0x address: your Hyperliquid account is the same address as your EVM wallet, so by default the USDC goes to the wallet you sign with. You can paste another 0x address as the recipient before you sign.

Watch the decimals if you read raw amounts: Hyperliquid perps USDC has 8 decimals. The app shows human amounts, so 19.94 means 19.94 USDC.

Fees and timing

LayerHop fee0.30% of the amount in the web app and widget, included in the quote
Relay feesShown in the quote when Relay reports them
Network gasPaid on the source chain in its native coin; nothing to pay on Hyperliquid
Delivery timeUsually seconds after your transaction confirms; every quote shows Relay's estimate

Example from a read-only quote on 2026-10-20: 20 USDC from Arbitrum was quoted at 19.94 USDC on Hyperliquid, and the 0.06 USDC difference was the LayerHop fee. Your quote will differ with prices and gas.

Gas on arrival isn't needed

On other EVM chains LayerHop can deliver a little native gas with your tokens. Hyperliquid doesn't need it: trading there uses no gas token, so the switch doesn't apply to this route and none of your deposit is spent on it.

Questions

How do I bridge USDT to Hyperliquid?

Open LayerHop, choose USDT on Ethereum, Arbitrum or BNB Chain as what you pay and Hyperliquid as the destination, enter an amount and sign one transaction. Your USDT is swapped to USDC on the way, because Hyperliquid's perps balance is USDC. The quote shows the rate and the exact USDC amount before you sign.

Which chains can I send USDT to Hyperliquid from?

Ethereum, Arbitrum and BNB Chain: USDT on each was quoted into Hyperliquid in our check on 2026-10-20. Every source must be an EVM chain; Solana isn't supported for Hyperliquid deposits yet.

What do I receive on Hyperliquid when I deposit with USDT?

USDC in your Hyperliquid perps balance, ready to use as margin. It does not arrive in your spot balance or on HyperEVM, and you don't receive HYPE. The recipient is your 0x address, which is your Hyperliquid account.

How long does a deposit with USDT to Hyperliquid take?

Usually seconds after your transaction confirms on the source chain. Relay estimated about a second for delivery on every route on this page in our check on 2026-10-20. Each quote shows Relay's current estimate, and you can follow the order in the app or the LayerHop Explorer.

What does it cost to bridge with USDT to Hyperliquid?

LayerHop charges 0.30% (30 basis points) of the amount in the web app and widget. It is part of the quote you see before signing, together with Relay's own fees when Relay reports them. You also pay network gas on the source chain. Example from a read-only quote on 2026-10-20: 20 USDC from Arbitrum was quoted at 19.94 USDC on Hyperliquid, and the 0.06 USDC difference was the LayerHop fee. Prices move, so check your own quote.

Do I need gas on Hyperliquid after bridging with USDT?

No. Trading on Hyperliquid needs no gas token, so LayerHop doesn't add gas on arrival to Hyperliquid deposits. You only need the source chain's native coin to pay the network fee for your transaction.

Can I withdraw from Hyperliquid back to another chain with LayerHop?

Not yet. Hyperliquid is a destination only in LayerHop, because withdrawals need actions signed on Hyperliquid itself, which LayerHop doesn't build. Withdraw on Hyperliquid, then swap or bridge from there with LayerHop if you like.
